What the cluck is going on? That's the question police in the Low Country are asking after a shooting at a chicken restaurant, Monday morning. The North Charleston Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Church's Chicken on Dorchester Road around 6:30AM.
Upon arrival, police found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated, there's been no update on their condition. An elderly man identified as 71 year old, Lawrence Leonard Mazyck was arrested at the scene. He's charged with attempted murder.
According to their listed business hours, the restaurant was not open when the incident occurred. Police have not released any further details, at this time.
