A candidate in the Republican runoff for a state office was hospitalized over the weekend. State Attorney General Candidate David Stumbo posted on social media over the weekend, that he had been hospitalized Saturday.
Stumbo said he woke up not "feeling right" and his doctor had him admitted to the hospital. Stumbo did not elaborate on what the medical issue may have been. However, he did say he expected to be back at full strength by Tuesday's election.
Stumbo will meet Stephen Goldfinch in the Runoff for the Republican nod in the State AG's race. Goldfinch is a State Senator from a prominent family in the Grand Strand area of the state.
