One inmate injured and another is facing new charges after a stabbing at a Midlands jail. The incident happened at the Alvin Glenn Detention Center in Columbia, Wednesday afternoon.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department says 22 year old, inmate Jeremy Dukes is charged with attempted murder following the stabbing.
Witnesses reportedly told officials that Dukes and the victim were involved in a fight prior to the stabbing. Dukes was reportedly seen fleeing the victim's cell. The victim was found with multiple stab wounds, however there's been no update on their condition.
