One person is dead and two children are injured after a single vehicle crash in the Upstate. The wreck happened just before 7AM Thursday morning on Highway 560 in Laurens County.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says, the driver of a Chevy Avalanche crossed the centerline, overcorrected went off the road, overturned and hit a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.
The two passengers were a 6 year old girl and an 8 year old boy. One of them was transported by EMS to the hospital, the other was airlifted. There's been no word on the condition of either child.
