One teenager is dead and another is injured after a weekend shooting in the Upstate. The Greenville Police Department responded just before 1030 Saturday night to a reported shooting at a home on Mulberry Street.
Upon arrival, officers found two teenagers suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the two teens died early Sunday from injuries suffered in the shooting. He's been identified as 17 year old, Andre Nicholson. A 16 year old victim was also injured in the shooting.
Police arrested 18 year old Corey Russ at the scene for drug possession. Charges against Russ are expected to be upgraded. The shooting remains under investigation.
