A child is dead after an apparent drowning in North Georgia, Thursday night. EMS responded to a home in Elberton, around 8PM. Officials say, a one year old child was found and was taken to Elbert Memorial Hospital, where they later died.
The child's identity has not yet been released, The incident is under investigation by The Elbert County Coroner's Office, GBI and other agencies.
