Over 80,000 chickens were killed in a weekend fire at a Western North Carolina poultry farm.
Fire crews from around Cherokee County and North Georgia responded to the Andrews Valley Poultry Farm just after 9PM, Friday. The blaze raged on before firefighters got it extinguished about 6 hours later.
Officials say no people were hurt, but over 85,000 chickens died in the fire.
