The identity of a husband and wife who were found dead in Simpsonville earlier this week, has been released.
As we previously reported, Deputies responded to a relatives request and conducted a welfare check at an Appian Circle home Tuesday. That's where the bodies of the elderly man and woman were found.
The Coroner's Office determined that the husband shot his wife, then took his own life. Two dogs were found dead in the home, as well as a decapitated bird. on Friday, The coroner's office identified the couple as 73 year old Gloria Jean Dobson, and 75 year old Daryl Lynn Dobson. The coroner's office says the couple had been dead for more than a week before they were discovered at the home.
