A human trafficking investigation led to the owner of a Greenville massage parlor being arrested, late last week.
The Greenville Police Department says the arrest was made at Amazing Massage on North Pleasantburg Drive Thursday after their investigation was launched last month.
The crackdown came as part of a nationwide effort targeting human trafficking. Police say prior to the arrest officers had stopped multiple vehicles leaving the business and were told by multiple people that they had received sexual services at the spa.
Two people were initially detained after police say bodily fluids and other signs indicating sexual activity were found at the business.
The owner of Amazing Spa 37 year old, Yujie Chen was arrested for operating a brothel. Officials say she remains in custody on an immigration detainer.
