A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car over the weekend. The collision happened around 6:20 Saturday night on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greenville County. Corporal Joe Hovis of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a Subaru SUV was heading south on Wade Hampton Boulevard when they hit a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, the identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
