A pedestrian is dead after a two collision involving two vehicles in the Upstate Wednesday night. Lance Corporal Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the incident occurred on US 25 near Lauren K Road in Greenville County around 9:45 PM.
According to the SCHP, an SUV and tractor trailer were traveling north on US 25 as an unidentified pedestrian was crossing the street. The pedestrian was hit by the SUV before then also being struck by the tractor trailer.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the occupants in the two vehicles were injured. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not yet released the identity of the victim.
