The pedestrian hit and killed in the fatal motorcycle crash Thursday night has now been identified.
Highway Patrol troopers responded to a reported motorcycle accident around 1:45am Thursday on between Highway 81 and Flat Rock Road in Anderson.
Once there, a pedestrian was found having been struck and was flown to a nearby hospital by helicopter. The motorcyclist was also taken to the hospital for their injuries.
The pedestrian, now identified as 42-year-old Dainzu Clemente Bustos, has since passed away in the hospital.
