Pedestrian killed in Greenville County crash

A pedestrian was struck and killed on a Greenville County roadway Saturday evening.
The Highway Patrol reports the collision happened around 8:30PM on US-276 near Marietta when a pedestrian crossing the road was hit by the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 68-year-old James William Pruitt of Marietta.
That incident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner's Office
