A pedestrian is dead after a weekend crash in the Upstate. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says, a pedestrian was walking on Highway 176 in Spartaburg County, around 7PM Friday.
The pedestrian 74 year old, Ira Darren Whitaker of Conyers, Georgia was killed in the incident. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Spartanburg County Coroner's Office.
