Police are re-examining a cold case murder in the Upstate. The Greenville Police Department says that in October of 2019 they responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex on Shaw Street.
Upon arrival, officers found 55 year old, Roger Taylor Belton dead at the scene after being shot. He was found in a vacant apartment early that morning. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots but no suspect or motive was ever identified.
