A major disturbance was reported at the Haywood Mall in Greenville Saturday night just after 8PM. The incident resulted in shoppers fleeing the mall and a false rumors that shots fired began to spread.
The Greenville Police Department says, no shots were fired. The described the incident in as an "assault" and said the loud sounds where chairs and tables being thrown around.
No arrests have been announced from the incident.
