A previously convicted felon is now facing drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop in the Upstate. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Abbeville Highway, this past weekend.
A search of the vehicle uncovered over an ounce and half of meth and a shotgun. The suspect 43 year old, Matthew Jennings was then arrested. Due to a prior felony conviction, Jennings was prohibited from possessing a gun.
He's charged with meth trafficking and a weapons violation.
