Prisma Health held an event last week in recognition of Black History Month and their African American employees.
The Gathering at the Flagpole event saw attendance from Prisma Health’s Black Men and Women in White Coats, the Levi Kirkland Society and African American Network Business Resource Groups, all in honor of the nationwide month dedicated to recognizing the contributions and achievements of African Americans.
The event took place both at the Greenville Memorial Hospital and the Richland Hospital.
Prisma Health says the event also drew attention to their “need for more Black and African American physicians.”
