The push back against Turning Point USA chapters in Greenville County schools continues. As we previously reported, the NAACP sent letters to the Greenville County School District expressing issues with Turning Point USA chapters in schools. Now, failed political hopeful Derrick Quarles is doubling down.

Quarles who lost in his bid for the Democratic nomination has taken issue with Turning Point Founder Charlie Kirk and his message following Kirk's assassination, last week.

Quarles is set to hold a protest against the Greenville County School District and their policy on the matter. He is calling for possible changes to the policy. That comes after a renewed groundswell of interest in Turning Point USA chapters from students at high schools across the county, following Kirk's death.

Quarles posted on social media "Let's Wrap Charlie Kirk mess up ASAP. He lived by the sword and what does the Bible say about when you live by the sword". He then stated in a social media video that "Black Lives Matter is nowhere near to the extreme that Turning Point USA is".

The protest organized by Quarles is set for 12PM Friday at the School District Office on Camperdown Way in Greenville.
