A South Carolina Department of Natural Resources officer is being praised for saving two elderly neighbors from a house fire in Anderson County.
Officer Will Sutton was home with his family on October 24th when his son alerted him to the fire.

Sutton called 911, then rushed inside the smoke-filled home. He rescued a bedridden woman, then went back inside to save a second resident who had re-entered the house.
He also managed to save several treasured belongings, including the couple’s Bible and wedding photos.
SCDNR officials are commending Sutton for his quick thinking and bravery.
