A registered out of state sex offender is in custody after a missing juvenile from the West Coast was found with him during a traffic stop in North Georgia.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle was spotted on a camera with a license plate reader, early Friday morning. The vehicle was said to be connected to a missing persons case.
During the traffic stop deputies arrested 25 year old, Caelen Dennis from Idaho. They discovered a juvenile with Dennis who was missing from Washington State.
Investigators say Dennis is a registered sex offender and is prohibited from having contact with a minor. Dennis was booked in Franklin County, charges against him are pending.
