An already registered sex offender living in the Upstate has been convicted again on child sex crime charges. 49 year old James Brown was found guilty in Greenville County Friday on 9 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and disseminating obscene materials to a minor.
Court documents say the abuse of the victim began when she was 9 years old and began living with Brown. The abuse continued over the course of nearly 5 years.
Brown has been sentenced to over 3 decades in prison. He had previously been found guilty of child sex crime charges in North Carolina in 2008.
