Human remains that were found in Cherokee County have been identified as an Upstate man. The Coroner's Office says bones were found buried off of Robbs School Road in Gaffney, last month.
The remains have been identified as Kevin Scott Brookshire of Chesnee. He had been reported missing nearly 4 years ago.
Brookshire had reportedly told friends he was going to Tennessee prior to his disappearance, but never made it. The cause and manner of his death are still pending at this time.
