An investigation is ongoing after an Upstate student reportedly brought a gun onto a school bus. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says a School Resource Officer was alerted to the situation, Monday afternoon and an investigation was launched.
The teenage student was questioned and was not allowed back at school, Tuesday. The Oconee County School District released a statement indicating that the incident happened on a Seneca school bus and involved a student at Seneca Middle School.
The Sheriff's Office says the incident remains under investigation. There's been no arrest announced in connection to the incident and no further details have been released, as of this time.
