The results for the Republican runoffs around the Upstate are now in. Sheri Biggs edged Mark Burns in a hotly contested race in the 3rd District Congressional District.
In State Senate District 6 Jason Elliott was a winner over Dr. Ben Carper. Roger Nutt got a close win over Lee Bright in District 12. In District 23, Carlisle Kennedy had a decisive win over Katrina Shealy.
In Statehouse District 9, Blake Sanders a winner of James Galyean. Sarita Edgerton carried more than 60% of the vote to win the runoff in District 34.
In the Greenville County Council runoffs, Steve Shaw a winner over Alex Reynolds, Frank Farmer by a decision margin over Jay Rogers.
