A retirement ceremony was held for three Upstate officials over the weekend. The event was held Sunday ay Unity Park in Greenville to celebrate the accomplishments of three women who represented the county in various capacities.
Those three included former Greenville County Council member Xanthene Norris, former State Representative Leola Robinson-Simpson and longtime Probate Judge Debora Faulkner.

Norris is a retired educator who taught in Greenville County Schools for years.Robinson-Simpson represented the 25th District in the Statehouse. She began serving in that role in 2013 and decided not to seek re-election in 2022.

Debora Faulkner served as Greenville County probate Judge for nearly 25 years, before losing the seat to Republican challenger Chad Groover in last year's election.
