A weekend traffic stop in the Upstate put a stop to drug trafficking for one suspect. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office executed a traffic stop Saturday morning at Sandifer Boulevard and Highway 11 near Westminster.
A search of the vehicle uncovered more than 5 grams of fentanyl and undisclosed amount of meth.
The suspect driver, 37 year old Ashley Claire Parmele of Salem, is charged with trafficking fentanyl and intent to distribute meth.
