The South Carolina Attorney General's Office is leading the charge against artificial intelligence being used for child sexual abuse.
State AG Alan Wilson is spearheading a letter to Congress on behalf of 50 states and four territories to ask them to look into AI being used to depict child sex abuse. The letter proposed legislation to protect children from that type of abuse.
Wilson said " “I’m the chief prosecutor of the state, but even more importantly, I’m a dad. Doing all I can to ensure children are safe and protected from exploitation is my top priority.”
