The hearing for an accused school shooter that was slated for this morning was waived. The 12 year old boy has not been identified due to being a minor. He was scheduled to be in family court as part of a 30 day detention hearing.
Prosecutors are working to have the boy tried as an adult. On March 31st, the boy allegedly shot and killed 12 year old classmate, Jamari Jackson at Greenville's Tanglewood Middle School. The suspect was found just after the shooting at a home near the school, he was taken into custody and a gun was recovered.
