Greenville Coroner's office investigators responded to the scene of a collision between a car and a school bus near Travelers Rest. It happened shortly before 8:00 AM, Friday on Geer Highway near Rock Quarry Road.
Although details on the collision are not yet clear, the fatally injured victim was not on the school bus. The four Travelers Rest High School students on board the bus were not hurt.
It is the third accident involving an Upstate school bus this week. Drivers were ticketed in connection with the accidents in Oconee and Anderson Counties.
