The principal of an Upstate school is facing charges for allegedly having sex with a student.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says 31 year old, Kalan Rogers was arrested Friday for sexual battery with a student between the ages of 16 and 17 years old.
Rogers is the Principal of Calhoun Falls Charter School in Abbeville County. The Sheriff's Office says the sexual battery did not involve aggravated force.
The Calhoun Falls School Board has not issued a response on the matter directly, saying they can't comment on an active investigation.
