It seems more so year after year that the concern and worry about school safety and more specifically, school shootings seems to grow. That comes with reason, as the U.S. has seen an increase of those types of incidents. In most of the Carolinas, there are resource police officers inside each school. That's something that not all states have. Also, many school districts in the Upstate and Western North Carolina have weapons detection scan systems at the doors and a gun safe for resource officers to keep a high powered patrol rifle in. Do those measures make you think that schools here are safer than the national average? That's the subject of today's daily poll.
