The search continues for a woman who went missing over the weekend at Lake Greenwood. The SCDNR says 30 year old Porsha Griffin and a friend were tubing behind a boat Saturday afternoon when the tube flipped throwing both of them into the water.
Griffin has not been seen since, the friend was helped out of the water by bystanders. DNR Officials were then called in and a search ensued. The search continued Sunday, but was called off right before dark. The search involved dive teams and the extensive use of sonar according to officials.
Neither Griffin or her friend was reportedly wearing a life jacket. Griffin is a Columbia native, a member of the South Carolina National Guard and a mother. The search is set to continue throughout the day, Monday.
