The search is on for an Oconee County man wanted for Attempted Murder following a weekend shooting. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says they are looking to locate 47 year old, Nathan Fred McCall after he allegedly shot a man in the head.
Deputies responded to a reported shooting at a home on Horseshoe Lane off of Flat Shoals Road near Tamassee, around 7:20 Friday night. The Sheriff's Office says upon arrival the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Deputies called in the SWAT Team thinking McCall may have barricaded himself inside the home. SWAT made entry into the home but discovered McCall had already fled the scene. The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating the suspect. Anyone with info on the whereabouts of Nathan McCall is asked to contact the Oconee County Sheriff's Office or Oconee Crime Stoppers. "
