Search is on for suspect in Oconee County shooting

The manhunt is on for a Seneca man wanted on a list of charges after a shooting that left one person injured.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 22 year old, Noah Brooks Brown is wanted on charges of attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, pointing and presenting a gun, and a weapons violation.

Investigators say Brown opened fire on a vehicle in the Townville community that was occupied by a man and two women. The man was hit in the shooting, he was injured and was taken to the hospital to be treated. That happened after Brown had allegedly tried robbing the trio prior to the shooting.

He's considered armed and dangerous and remains at large, as of the time of this report. Brown is known to frequently be in the Seneca Mill Hill area. Anyone with info on his whereabouts should call Crimestoppers at 844-71-Crime.
