The search is on for a suspect following a shooting at a Western North Carolina motel that left two people injured.
The Asheville Police Department responded Monday night to a motel on Tunnel Road and found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both transported to the hospital to be treated. The shooter fled the scene prior to police arriving. The suspect, 21 year old Javon Lindsay, is charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and other charges.
He's also wanted here in South Carolina for armed robbery. Lindsay is still at large, as of the time of this report. He's considered armed and dangerous; anyone with info on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Asheville PD at 828-252-1110.
