A section of the Green Line of the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail will be closed beginning Monday, October 9th.
The closed section will stretch from Icehouse Lane up to Verdae Boulevard as construction takes place of a retaining wall needed for the Legacy Park connection to the trail.
The full closure is necessary due to heavy equipment being used, which will create a safety hazard.
Trail users should avoid this area entirely so they do not reach a dead end at the work zone.
The section will be closed for roughly two weeks, expecting to be reopening after Friday, October 20th.
