Seneca man and Walhalla teen charged in shooting

Two suspects, one of them a teenager are in custody after allegedly shooting at a vehicle in the Upstate, Thursday morning.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 20 year old, Daniel Jordan Perry of Seneca and a 14 year old from Walhalla were arrested on charges of attempted murder, firing into an occupied vehicle, and a weapons violation.


Deputies responded to a home near Walhalla just before 330AM, this morning. The Sheriff's Office says two men told deputies that Perry and the teenager fired shots at their vehicle, while they were driving down Blue Ridge Boulevard.

Investigators determined that an argument led to the shooting. Perry was booked into the Oconee County Jail, the 14 year old was transported to the Juvenile Justice Facility in Columbia.
