A countywide operation led to arrest warrants for nine registered sex offenders. The Greenwood County Sheriff's Office says deputies checked 191 registered offenders last week to make sure they were complying with registration requirements.
Nine were found to be out of compliance, and arrest warrants have been issued.
The operation involved the Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.
