An investigation is on going after a deadly shooting Wednesday morning at a Cherokee County school bus stop. School district officials say, it happened near a stop on the 500 block of West Rutledge Avenue, near Granard Court Apartments in Gaffney.
A fight reportedly broke out at the bus stop and one person was shot and killed. Gaffney's Mayor has told reporters he believes the victim was a high school student.
The name of the victim has not yet been made public and Gaffney Police have not released any details about a suspect. No further information has been made available, as of the time of this report.
