An active shooter has prompted a major law enforcement presence at an Upstate school. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says over 100 deputies are on the scene at Tanglewood Middle School in Greenville after a reported shooting. The Sheriff's Office says a student was shot just before 12:30 this afternoon.
As of 1 PM Deputies were actively trying to identify the shooter , which they believe is a student. The shooting victim was taken to a nearby hospital, currently there's no word on the victim's condition. The Sheriff's Office says no further information is currently available, but they will release more info as new details emerge.
