The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reports a SWAT situation at a motel has ended.
Earlier today, a release from GCSO reported deputies investigating a shooting at Armstrong Suites at 4295 Augusta Road.
According to the release, the 9-1-1 call reporting a man with a gunshot wound came in around 10:50 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim with at least one gunshot wound; he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Someone matching the description of the suspect was reportedly seen around 12:30pm at the Camelot Inn at 20 Woodmede.
SWAT was called in to negotiate with the person who was inside one of the Camelot Inn rooms.
Around 3 p.m., a separate release from the GCSO reported negotiations successfully concluded. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
