On February 3, 2021, at 3:02 a.m. Union County Sheriff's Office responded to 818 Old Buncombe Road in Union County in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies found 46-year-old Margaret Cimbollek dead from gun shot wounds.
A man found on the scene, later identified as her husband 52-year-old Robert Cimbollek.
Investigators arrived and began to process the scene.
During the course of the investigation, Cimbollek was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. This is an ongoing investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Office.
