The city of Simpsonville is hosting a citywide cleanup day later this month.
The Simply Beautiful Cleanup Day is set for Saturday, October 14th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Simpsonville this month.
The event is dedicated to removing litter from around the city and raising awareness about the negative impact littering can have.
In a press release, Simpsonville Mayor Paul Shewmaker said, “Simpsonville is a beautiful city, and we want to keep it that way. While the cleanup days remove litter from our city, they also remind the public of the negative impact that littering can have on our quality of life.”
The city has been holding cleanup days since 2019, with the last one being held near Earth Day in April of last year.
