A child is dead after drowning in Anderson County over the weekend. The Coroner's Office says, the incident happened at a home on Dickerson Road in Anderson, just after 9PM Sunday. Officials say the girl was visiting the home for a birthday party and wandered outside and into the pool.
The child identified as 6 year old, Kynzie Dennis reportedly went under underwater and never resurfaced. Her death has been ruled accidental. The incident marks the second drowning in Anderson County over the weekend, after a man whose identity has not been released yet, drowned while swimming at Lake Hartwell, yesterday afternoon.
