SLED Agents on Monday charged 46 year-old Patrick Cowan Henry, Jr. of Anderson with Ill Treatment of Animals – 1st Offense. The now former Anderson County Deputy was booked at Anderson County Detention Center.
Anderson County Animal Control deputies observed the condition of a dog owned by Henry and noted the dog appeared to be in need of medical attention.
The dog was seized and turned over to Anderson County PAWS Animal Shelter for medical treatment. The case will be prosecuted by the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
