An investigation is ongoing after a fatal shooting outside of an Upstate convenience store. Police responded to a shooting behind Buddy's Corner Store in Union just after 7:45 PM Monday.
Officers arrived and found a man in the grass suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to Union Hospital, where he later died
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. The Union Public Safety Department and SLED are investigating the shooting.
