A fatal house fire in Laurens County has prompted a SLED investigation. Firefighters responded to a house fire on Highway 92 in the Gray Court area, around 8:45 Saturday night.
Firefighters arrived and found one person dead inside the home. SLED investigators were still on the scene as of Sunday morning. It's standard protocol for SLED to investigate fire related deaths, statewide.
The coroner's office on Sunday identified the victim as 68-year-old Teresa Posey.
