An Upstate woman is facing charges after police in the Low Country say a social media argument ended with an assault. The North Charleston Police Department says 34 year old, Ebonie Monea Haynes of Greenville is charged with 1st degree assault.
The charges came after police in North Charleston responded to a reported fight, Saturday night. Officers arrived and found three people inside a vehicle that was damaged. Police were told that two groups of people met up to settle their social media squabble.
Police say, Haynes drove her vehicle into the victims' car deliberately which caused damage. Haynes has reportedly left the scene. She was later located and taken into custody.
