Greenville is getting a double dose of Fourth of July fun. America's birthday celebration is getting a brand-new soundtrack this year. For the first time, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra will perform live during Fireworks at Unity Park as part of America's 250th birthday celebration.
The fireworks will be choreographed to the music, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. The event is this Thursday, July 2nd, from 6PM to 10 PM at Unity Park.
Then on Saturday, July 4th, the Greenville Drive will host Freedom Fest at Fluor Field with family activities and a fireworks finale. Communities across the Upstate, including Spartanburg, will also host Independence Day celebrations.
